Back in The Fields, Seoul Community Radio and Sabai Sabai pulled up and set up to broadcast Radio Wonderfruit, with international DJs and live interviews with some of our headliners. First up, here’s a little taster of what went down.
Having modified their Thai ‘Baht Bus’, the award-winning SCR and Bangkok’s own Sabai Sabai team parked the radio shack up during the hazy afternoons to delight nearby Wonderers and watchers-from-afar with mobile tunes. Sunday’s set from Rompa’s Reggae Shack included conversations with the evening’s headliners. Here’s the interview with Yeasayer:
And, before he took to the Living Stage to close the festival, Chronixx dropped in for a chat:
Besides these special guest appearances, Radio Wonderfruit featured DJ sets from a sonic smorgasbord of selectors, hailing from Thailand, Korea and beyond. On Friday, the broadcast came from Tiki Bar, with the likes of Boogie G (Nite Ride) and Mikhail (XX XX / More Rice, Manila) offering up afternoon delights. Check out the livestream:
